The NodStop Project is developed to enhance motorcycle rider safety by integrating smart technology into a helmet. The main problem addressed is rider fatigue, which may lead to loss of focus and lane drifting. This project adopts a prototyping approach by combining a camera for lane detection, an IMU sensor for head movement monitoring, and a GPS module with a mobile application for monitoring and SOS functionality. The system provides early warnings through a buzzer and real-time location tracking. The findings indicate that the system functions effectively in detecting risks and has the potential to improve rider safety and emergency response.
